Pause if you're ready for me to get a bit mushy. 5 years ago I scrolled across one of Cait's videos on tik tok and then another and another. I had made a handful of tik toks at that point trying to fill the void of time that was the Covid shutdown, but Cait's videos brought me into the world of book content. Reminding me that there was a community of readers out there to connect with. Cut to 5 years later and many many many videos and Cait asks me to moderate their launch event for the tour of The Princess Knight. I was nervous but also excited! I've gotten to interview a few authors for my podcast and I have my mini mic interview series when I go to events, but I'd never gone solo moderating an in person event and it was so much fun!!!!!
